It starts...

So today school officially started. Back to the "Real World" for most of us... or at least me anyways... I don't consider what I did this summer working/real world, it was too easy, stress free, fun. But now that Classes have started, even though I only had one class today, and really only have 2 classes +band total... I can already tell it's gonna be busy as ever. I mean it's semi-exciting... you know how it gets, the air gets crisper and you see all the people you haven't seen in a while... it's sorta exhilerating getting the new books and being a little excited to see what your classes are about this semester, but I think I'm with the majority of students around the world... despite all this, I'm not really quite ready to start, summer is just not long enough... especially as this was my last summer ever... next summer I will be graduating and getting a job, that's really kinda a scary thought...sigh. Oh well I still plan to live it up this year, my last year,.. you know, no regrets and such, but I suppose we will see. I like my class schedule so that's a start... got class 10-3:30 monday, 8-2 T, 10-12:30 W, dunno yet thurs, and none friday... and of course stick band in there MWF 5-7.

Am REALLY excited about the prospective new class for TBS though :) :) some really cute personalities lookin to join, and so far, relatively drama free in the actives! yay! Band camp is over... and now we are officially into only 5-7 MWF practice, which is nice, cuz I can only handle so much of those long pracitices...

but you know what I just thought of... in light of discussing the book buying situation a minute ago with my bro... THIS IS MY LAST YEAR TO HAVE TO BUY BOOKS!!!! yay!! that's the absolute WORST part about going back to classes.... buying all those freaking expensive books, that end up being the biggest waste of money/ripoff ever. grrr. I hate book buying. and that's all I have to say about that.

Early Week!

Hi. So it's officially begun... Early week, and for the moment band is my LIFE :) (not that it isn't most of the time anyways but especially this week) buuuuutttt so far so good... am remaining cheerful, and am SUPER excited about our new freshmen ('specially my lil' bro!) I'm a squad leader this year (that means I get to help teach some of the marching stuff) so that's great fun, a slightly different role from previous years. I still miss a lot of the people that didn't come back this year... but I guess it's part of growing up right? I mean I'll move on next year and maybe be one of those people too so I guess I can't hold it against them right? ;) anyways... need to get to bed, gots to be bright eyed and bushy-taled and at Blazer for breakfast at 0800... just thought I post a so far so good yay new freshman and old buddies and good times at my last early week note :)
