Spring Break and Spring Fever

Sooo it's a GORGEOUS day, sunny and blue skies with a bit of a breeze... the only catch? IT'S COLD! :( grrr. What about the 60 degree weather? Where did it all go?? Spring break is supposed to be pretty... I'm soooo ready for the pretty weather to come and stay put longer than a day... oh well. I'm still mega excited, I think we may still get to go to D.C. :)
Lance finally had his interview with the Dave Ramsey folks yesterday morning (it was postponed from Monday) and he seems to think it went well. They actually went ahead and did the next interview because they knew he was from Lexington and decided to save him the trip as they knew he'd be moving on in the selection process. They couldn't move on because that would throw him off track from the other interviewees but that still should be helpful because hopefully the next interview will not be next week :). yay! Spring Break plans still intact... at the moment...
Let's see... I'm working like mad on my research paper due mid april lately. It's starting to sorta worry me, which is odd, papers are not usually my downfall in a class, I can churn out a paper like clockwork, but I still worry....oh well, lots of feedback from the teacher and not procrastinating should help...
Ok, so Cynda and I met with Russell a coupla weeks ago to go over some smaller show stats in support of doing smaller shows, and so now we are going to do one. Should be (pending proposal passing) Sharif Iman on April 15th. Go figure. That's the day of Maker's Mile, AND TBS Formal. I have no idea how I'm gonna fit this concert in, and the sucky part is I really need to after all it took to get to this point.... :/.
Daddy just got back from Sailing the Atlantic :). Said it was "everything I'd dreamed it would be for the last thirty years." 30mph winds... 7-8 knots most of the time, a full day of running a spinaker (the big colorful sails that fly in front of the boat almost like a kite) I'm so glad for him... and he wants to take us sometime.. yay! How awesome would that be?? He was gone on his birthday so we are celebrating this Sunday... I think they are gonna come up sunday for dinner. Yum.
Yeah I dunno what's up other than that. Nominations for TBS are coming up.. Next monday. I gotta figure out what I wanna do... and other than that, I am SO EXCITED about a week off from school.. :) Hope everyone has a good/safe, relaxing break :)
