Summer days.....

Wow. So what have I been up to all summer? BUSY BUSY BUSY (in case the lack of post's didn't reveal that anyways...) but specifically? Wellll I've been spending lots of time with the family, lots of time on the river and lots of time working... as well as some good times with high school buddies and my baby (Lance that is... no I do not have a real baby ;) ) I'm workin at Owensboro Pediatrics... I am an MOA (Medical Office Assistant) ... which basically means I hunt down charts, organize them and then call the patients back, work them up (heights, weights, B/P, ear test ect depending on their reason for being there, find out why they're there) and then send the doc in. I've been able to follow and watch in a few cases where we've been slow enough which is very cool. But either way... I've been workin 8:30 to 5:30, Mon-Fri and as soon as I get off work it's been home, and then back on the run again...either out on the river, or down at my dad's property working on the dock or whatever else.
Speaking of the dock... WHOA! It's finally all in (with some minor additions it will be completly finished) but it's all attatched to the bank and such now with the steps and ramps and everything... Yay no more Harvy Bouchart easy (read DIFFICULT) scaling of the river bank to get to a dock tied to a tree :). it's sooo wonderful... and was really cool to watch. We put most of it together... bolted all the steel, drilled lots of holes for the bolts, and screwed all the boards down on the ramp and the dock itself... and then the barge to put it all in (cuz it was really heavy) pulled right up and put it all in (in a 3 day process of course)
YAY!
So yeah that's been consuming a lot of my time but so far it's been great to be home, but I'm really excited to get to go back to Lex in a coupla weeks. I miss my buddies and am WAY excited about TBS Nationals :) yay TAU BETA SIGMA :)
And Billy registers for school this week :) this year should be a good time... am also way excited about him being up there. We've been practically attatched at the hip this summer... I'm surprised we're not sick of each other, but so far it's just been good sibling fun... I'd missed being able to just be silly and stupid with him... I mean I still got a little of a fix with Jenny living next door but it's not quite the same.... :) :)
ok so right, anyways, umm, house, work, people, river, that's about it....
